The view of the Saugatuck River made this a once in a lifetime piece of property, but the flat roofed, modern house was not what the owners wanted to llive in.
The zoning constrictions of the property were numerous and variances were required to build a second floor. With knowledge and diligence, all variances were obtained and the project was built. Through innovative design, including a “back yard buddy” which stacks 2 cars in the small two car garage, the house is now a rambling 2-story shingle style home. Attention was paid to traditional details while designing a spacious open floor plan. Views of the river are enjoyed from every angle.
