Contemporary

High on a Hill

This 1980’s contemporary had an open living room-dining area filled with light and soaring ceilings, but the small kitchen, separated from the family room, was inadequate. The walk-out lower area was narrow and dark.

The kitchen was expanded to the rear as well as removing walls to open the space up to the family room.

Soaring ceilings, skylights and walls of glass now match the existing house in this new, gourmet kitchen with Italian cabinetry and heated tile floors. Deck rails were replaced with glass to capture the view. A large recreation room was built below the kitchen. A new full bath and bar area serve as a new pool cabana.
