This property has been before the ZBA twice with 2 different  owners. The 1st time we were granted to build a new portico  & deck on the front and a new deck on the rear. The 2nd time we were granted to change the roof style from a gable-end  “typical colonial look” to a more classic hip roof to incorporate a new 3rd floor “attic”.

The owners wanted to re-capture the water views, which had slowly diminished from near-by building as well as tree growth & needed more livable space. The answer was a third floor. Taking into account all restrictions from the local zoning “a room with a view” was built. The owners feel that the 3rd floor is liking living on their boat at home.
